So you’ve decided to plan a trip to Hollywood—now what? With so much to see and do in so little time, planning your itinerary can be extremely overwhelming.
While Hollywood has plenty of things to do for every type of traveler, there are a few things that anyone traveling here for the first time absolutely won’t want to miss.
Check out our five must-sees for while you’re in town:
Hollywood Attractions You Won’t Want to Miss
1. Hollywood Boulevard
Hollywood Boulevard is generally everyone’s first stop once they arrive—and for good reason! There are plenty of special events, movie premieres and Walk of Fame star reveals going on all the time, but between all the shops and sites to take in, even walking down the street on a regular day feels like you are in a different world.
2. The Hollywood Sign
There is nothing like seeing the Hollywood Sign in person for the first time! You can see the sign from pretty much anywhere throughout the town, but make a point to hit one of the prime viewing spots to get the perfect shot before you leave.
3. The Hollywood Walk of Fame
A guaranteed spot to see the stars! Seeing all the legacies that have earned their spot in the Walk of Fame is a magical moment. Completing the entire Hollywood Walk of Fame will take you down several blocks, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
4. Griffith Observatory
The view from the Griffith Observatory is stunning both by day and by night—and it has served as the background for many beloved movies over the years, too. The Observatory also features hiking trails, planetarium shows and late-night star viewing parties to add on to the fun.
5. Hollywood and Highland
Whether the focus of your visit is world-class entertainment, delicious dining or premier shopping destinations, Hollywood and Highland has everything you need! This beloved spot is visited by locals and tourists seven days a week, and with everything there is to see, you won’t want to miss it.
